10 – DPO August 2015

So … today was not my proudest day. I think I peed on enough money to financially support a small country. As far as “symptoms” go today was a pretty decent day. It seems as though my boobs have finally decided to play ball; they haven’t been sore hardly at all since a day or two after O until yesterday. The Sore-Boob-A-Tosis (can ya tell we’ve been watching Doc McStuffins this morning??) could be resulting from one of two possibilities. 1) My body has finally built up enough progesterone between what the corpus luteum (the cyst formed inside your ovary from the follicle that once contained the egg expelled during O, who’s only job after O is to produce progesterone), combined with the progesterone suppositories or, 2) I am actually preggers. Truthfully, with the ambiguity of all the dang tests I’ve peed on over the last few days, I’m putting my money on #1. So without further adieu …

I am about 98.9% sure that this is the indent line you're seeing. It darkened over time.

The first HPT that I chose to take today was a trusty-dusty, favorite of TTC-ers everywhere, FRER. The top image was taken at around 2:00 pm, well within the 10 minute allotted time frame. I’d be willing to say that I’m about 99.95% sure that this test is a BFN. The image on the bottom (because I’m pathetic like that) was taken at around midnight. The indent line on the test strip was slightly visible upon taking the test, but as you can see, it darkened considerably over the course of the day.

*I will almost always include not only fresh pictures of each test I post (taken within 10 minutes of testing), but I will also attempt to include a photo of what the test looks like when completely dry in hopes that it may help not only myself, but also others who may/may not be trying to decide if what they are looking at is an Evap Line.*

So what about the Walmart First Signal cheapies I took yesterday that sparked this frenzied Pee Test Fest? What did they look like when I checked them today? I’m so glad you asked, because I just happen to have pictures of those, too!

After Matt made dinner last night and I stuffed myself to the point of needing the button on my jeans unbuttoned,

I couldn't help it - he made such an awesome meal that I just HAD to share it!

I bathed the Tiny Tyrant, put him in bed, and watched a movie called “Next” with Nicolas Cage (not half bad) and at around 11:00 I thought “What the hell?” and went and POAS using one of my OSOMs. One of the most consistent statement in almost every review on the OSOM is that they can take up a couple hours to develop in the early days. So I kept it and brought it in the living room with me. I got up to get a soda and almost choked. The test was almost dry, but I saw a line! I snapped a few more pictures of it as it completely dried, the last one being first thing this morning.

Top test was about an hour or so after POAS; they get older as you go down the list. Bottom was this morning; still a line, but VERY faint.

So on that note, I headed off to bed. Still having a bit of renewed hope, but trying not to get my hopes up. Yes, I know that 9-10 DPO (based on my CM this cycle I “could’ve” O’d a day later) is still supposed to be super early, but it gets harder and harder to keep the faith with every single BFN …
